Your journey begins with a 7:00 AM wake-up call and breakfast. Afterward, we head to the Rinjani Information Center in Sembalun for mandatory registration.
At 8:00 AM, the trek officially begins. We start with a gentle, scenic hike through open meadows and rolling grass savannas. After about two hours of walking, we reach Pos 1 (1,300m), followed by a 40-minute trek to Pos 2 (1,500m). We then proceed to Pos 3 (1,800m), where we will pause for a freshly prepared, hearty lunch. After resting, we tackle the most demanding part of the day: a prolonged, steep three-hour climb to the Sembalun Crater Rim (2,639m). Here, our team will set up camp for the night.
You can relax, enjoy dinner, and take in the magnificent sunset and sunrise views over the crater.
Summit Attack, Segara Anak Lake & Senaru Crater Rim An early alpine start! We wake you at 2:00 AM with hot drinks and a light breakfast.
At 3:00 AM, we begin the thrilling push to the summit. The ascent starts with a moderate trek, leading into a longer, steady path, and finishes with a tough climb up steep, loose volcanic scree. Your perseverance will pay off at 6:00 AM when you reach the summit (3,726m) to witness an unparalleled sunrise and 360-degree panoramic views of Lombok, Bali, Sumbawa, and Segara Anak Lake. We then descend for two hours back to the Sembalun Crater Rim for a well-deserved, heavy breakfast. Afterward, we hike down a steep, rocky trail for three hours to reach the shores of Segara Anak Lake. Lunch will be served right by the lake. Just 100 meters from your lunch spot, you can soak and relax your tired muscles in the natural hot springs. Rejuvenated, we embark on a three-hour afternoon ascent to the Senaru Crater Rim. Your campsite will be waiting here, offering an incredible sunset view over Mount Agung in Bali.

Senaru Crater Rim to Senaru Village Wake up to another beautiful sunrise and enjoy a relaxed breakfast above the clouds. After packing up, we begin our long descent toward Senaru Village.
The trail takes you down through the shaded, cool canopy of Senaru’s grand tropical rainforest. Along the way, you can enjoy the rich flora and might even spot native wildlife, including the rare black monkey. We will stop for lunch on the trail, typically between Pos 2 and Pos Extra. You will arrive at the Senaru Rinjani Trekking Center around 1:00 PM.
From here, our private transport will be waiting to drop you off at your next destination, concluding your epic Rinjani adventure.
